Why use the Mental health and Money Toolkit?

The Toolkit will help guide mental health and money conversations with your healthcare worker or debt adviser. It was co-produced with people with lived experience of mental health and money difficulties and healthcare professionals who support people to manage their mental health and money.

The Toolkit can help you:

  • Understand the relationship between money and mental health.
  • Learn self-help techniques for managing your anxiety and mental health around your money worries.
  • Take control of your finances.

The Toolkit is split into different sections, allowing you to choose which ones are relevant to you. We recommend everyone completes Section 1 first. You don’t have to go through the resource in one go; you can come back to it at any time.
